Special Olympics Rhode Island
Corporate and Foundation Fundraising
Seaside Consulting is proud to be part of the capital campaign team that raised funding for Special Olympics RI/CVS Caremark Training Center in Smithfield, RI. Seaside helped to secure foundation, corporate and government support for this campaign, which has raised over $3 million total to date. Special Olympics celebrated the grand opening of this fantastic new facility in June 2011. Seaside’s team is very happy to continue to support SORI’s great work by helping to raise funding for its overall success and to expand SORI’s programs like Project Unify, Healthy Athletes and the Young Athletes program.
Dr. Martin Luther King Community Center
Fundraising
Seaside Consulting is helping the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, Newport RI to expand its fund raising program, focusing on corporate and foundation grants. During 2011, Seaside helped MLKCC to double the amount of grant proposals submitted and secured. Seaside is very passionate about supporting the mission of the MLKCC, which focuses on hunger relief programs, children’s education and enrichment programs and many events and services for the entire community.
Friends of Jamestown Youth
Strategic Plan 2011
The Friends of Jamestown Youth is a new community-driven non-profit organization that aims to provide support to the young people of Jamestown by fostering and sustaining the development of programs that promote positive decision-making. Seaside Consulting facilitated a Board Strategic Planning process, which created this roadmap to the organization’s development and community involvement.
